How's it going, everybody?

現在石垣島は台風１５号の強風域にあります。強風域とはいえなかなかの風と雨です。明日１６日の昼間に石垣島に最接近しそうです。
At this moment, Typhoon Krosa is located south of Ishigaki island about 350km. Now we already have strong rain and wind. According to the forecast he (or she) will approach most closely to us around tomorrow noon.

昨日のうちに台風対策も終え本日はダイビング中止ということなので、昨晩はヤノちゃんとヒデトと連れ立って結構遅くまでお酒を嗜みました。これも台風のお陰？？今日は朝も早よから眠い目を擦って運転免許の更新です。石垣島に住み着いて３年半、石垣市字川平の文字が住所欄に記入された新しい免許を手にしました。大平智己、沖縄県民として一歩前進です。
As the ｐreparation against this typhoon was completed yesterday and today we have no diving, I enjoyed drinking with co-workers, Aki and Hideto until midnight. This is advantage for us by typhoon, isn't it?? In this morning I went to driving license bureau to renew my license. Three and half years have already passed since I had moved to Ishigaki and I got the new license with my current address "Ishigaki Kabira". It made me feel I am Okinawanchu (Okinawa-jin).
